As a Lead Mobile HVAC Technician, you will serve as the primary technical expert for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across multiple client facilities in northern New York. This critical role ensures optimal building performance and occupant comfort while maintaining JLL's reputation for excellence in facilities management. You will lead maintenance operations, mentor junior technicians, and drive preventive maintenance programs that maximize system efficiency and minimize downtime, directly contributing to JLL's commitment to delivering superior client satisfaction and operational excellence.

  • Travel between multiple client sites in northern NY to perform comprehensive HVAC system inspections, maintenance, and repairs
  • Lead preventive maintenance programs for mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance
  • Troubleshoot complex system issues and perform emergency repairs to minimize facility downtime
  • Maintain detailed maintenance records and documentation for all work performed across assigned facilities
  • Operate and maintain company vehicles safely while transporting tools, equipment, and materials between sites
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior technicians and facilities staff
  • Ensure all work meets or exceeds industry codes, standards, and JLL quality requirements
  • EPA Universal Certification for refrigerant handling
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC systems operation, maintenance, and repair
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record and ability to operate company vehicles
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills for complex building systems
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs and computerized maintenance management systems
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision across multiple locations
  • Physical capability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various environmental conditions
  • HVAC trade certification or associate degree in mechanical/electrical technology
  • Leadership or supervisory experience in facilities maintenance environments
  • Knowledge of building automation systems and energy management controls
  • Experience with plumbing systems and general facilities maintenance
  • Familiarity with commercial real estate or corporate facilities management
  • Basic computer skills for maintenance record keeping and reporting systems
  • Customer service experience working in occupied commercial buildings
