Lead Mobile Architect Xamarin - Contract
About The Position
The Lead Mobile Solutions Architect is responsible for translating mobile app requirements into mobile solution architecture that adheres to the best practices of the iOS and Android platforms. This resource will provide mobile guidance through documentation, vendor analysis, third-party component evaluation and API integration strategies. Primary Responsibilities & Essential Functions: Define and enforce iOS and Android architecture design patterns Implement CI/CD processes for source control, automated test-script execution, store releases, etc Evaluate 3rd-party components/vendors for mobile capabilities (Geolocation, Push Notification, AI, Mobile Payments, MDM, etc.) Lead development teams and mentor junior team members Participate in code reviews and functional demos Define approaches for enterprise API integration Establish centralized mobile analytics platform
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years as a solutions architecture
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on mobile development in Objective-C, Swift, Java, and/or Kotlin
- Knowledge of benefits vs challenges of mobile frameworks like React Native, Xamarin, Ionic
- Experience with mobile analytics like New Relic, Adobe Analytics and/or App Dynamics
- Experience addressing Mobile security concerns including two-factor authentication
- Working knowledge of TestFlight, Google Beta, Google Play, Apple App Store
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, OpenStack
- Knowledge of XCTests, UITests and Espresso
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
