Boeing Mission Systems Phantom Works organization has an exciting opportunity for an experience to senior level/ lead Mission Systems Crew SystemsEngineer. This position will be part of a proprietary program located in Berkeley, MO. Proprietary programs develop complex, highly integrated, advanced systems, enabling future growth for Boeing and our Department of Defense (DoD) Customers. This position will lead solutions and integration of Displays, Crew Storage, HUD, Helmet, and/or other crew systems networks solutions. The selected engineer will work in a high-performing cross functional team primarily focused on Mission Systems Crew Systems. This position will directly report to the Core Avionics team within Mission Systems on a Phantom Works Proprietary program. Contingent Upon Award: This position is contingent upon award This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
• Level 5: 14+ years' related work experience with a bachelor's degree OR an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
• Electrical engineering experience involving system requirements, functional decomposition and allocation, integrated design, analysis and evaluation, verification
• Experience with avionics hardware development, design, production, and project management
• This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
• A final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
• This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

• The lead will provide technical oversight to crew systems hardware engineers
• Perform trade studies, modeling, simulation and other forms of analysis to predict component, interconnects and system performance and to optimize design
• Researches specific technology advances for potential application
• Designs hardware, software, and interface specifications
• Architect Network and Processing solution
• Define and conduct tests to validate performance of designs to requirements
• Using CAMEO/MBSE Analyze, translate, and implement requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications, showing traceability throughout the product lifecycle
• Assists in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements
• Support project management by providing work statement, budget, schedule and other required inputs and by reporting project status
• Interface with multiple disciplines, internal and external customers, suppliers, and multiple levels of the organization
