About The Position

Apply engineering principles and practice in broad areas of complex technical project work that requires in-depth analysis using advanced techniques, knowledge, and expertise. Provide technical expertise within project teams. Develop networking designs to support initiatives. Communicate and provide documentation for issues identified to both vendor and internal teams. Represent the group internally across the company to provide functional and technical leadership and externally to submit vendor feature requests. Perform architecture, design, development, and deployment of systems supporting multiple network projects critical to AT&T (P1/P2, Open Access, RAN, NEON). Create architecture design through technical assessments of the business needs and creating software to meet those specifications. Continuous integration continuous deployment principals along with using Agile development methodologies will be required to ensure timely delivery and deployment of critical business features. Deep technical knowledge of networking, network device configuration, Opensource technologies and use of AI such as GPT4 to develop optimal business solutions and achieve cycle time reductions. Utilize knowledge in telecommunications networking and architecture along with OSS/BSS applications supporting both wireline and mobility networks. Deploy Cloud native applications on Azure and experience with Azure DevOPs tools. Deploy Cloud native applications on Public or Private Cloud. Utilize scripting languages (Python, Java, and shell scripting). Use Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Outlook, OneDrive, Teams).

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation utilizing knowledge in telecommunications networking and architecture along with OSS/BSS applications supporting both wireline and mobility networks
deploying Cloud native applications on Azure and experience with Azure DevOPs tools
deploying Cloud native applications on Public or Private Cloud
utilizing scripting languages (Python, Java, and shell scripting)
using Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Outlook, OneDrive, Teams).
