About The Position

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a Part-time Day Shift Licensed Practical Nurse - Lead Medication Nurse (LPN) to join our team at North Branch Correctional Institution (NBCI) located in Cumberland , Maryland. The Lead Medication LPN dispenses and administers oral, inhalation and topical medications to patients. This person also takes vital signs, assists in examination and treatment and with activities of daily living. Available shift: Day shift 16 hours per week with rotating weekends

Requirements

• Active LPN license to practice in Maryland
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of one year of work experience as a LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferred
• Experience working in corrections preferred
