Mountain Family Medical Assistants (MAs) are a key component of the medical care team and the Lead MA functions as an MA while also being an example and resource for other MAs at the location. As one of the more experienced members of the MA team, the Lead is often paired with the Site Medical Director for care provision and utilizes days not serving as a provider's MA to support other MAs at the site both through task assistance, coaching/training, and some administrative responsibilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years' related experience required.
• Current Medical Assistant credentials or certification preferred.
• Basic Life Support Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Medical Director in care provision as a Medical Assistant.
• Assist other MAs with tasks and provide coaching/training.
• Handle some administrative responsibilities as needed.
