About The Position

Under the supervision of the manager/director, coordinates and maintains daily operational activities to assure the delivery of quality care, to provide exceptional customer service, to foster collaborative and professional working relationships and to ensure staff adherence to the policies and procedures of the health care system and regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
• Ambulatory experience in a primary or specialty care setting required
• Possess at least one (1) of the following Medical Assistant certifications: American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
• BLS CPR from the AHA
• Successful completion of accredited medical assistant program
• Successful completion of Loyola's phlebotomy training program is required
• Applicants for this position must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor an employment visa for this position.

Nice To Haves

• Associates Degree
• 6 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
• Previous Supervisory experience in an active, clinical setting is strongly preferred.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardio Life Support Certified) and/or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Certified
• Certified Phlebotomy Technician (ASCP)
