Lead Medical Assistant - Immediate Care - River Forest
About The Position
Join our dynamic Immediate Care team, providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting! 🕒 Clinic Hours: Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM Saturday, Sunday & Holidays: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM 📅 Schedule: 3 shifts/week at 12 hours each (3/12s) Day shift only 🔄 Rotation Requirements: Weekend rotation (Saturday & Sunday) Holiday rotation 🚗 Travel Expectations: Occasional travel to Burr Ridge and Burr Ridge locations as needed We’re looking for compassionate, flexible team members who thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to delivering exceptional care. Requirements
- Administrative or technical background acquired through completion of 2 - 3 years of college
- Successful completion of accredited medical assistant program
- Successful completion of Loyola's phlebotomy training program is required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
- Ambulatory experience in a primary or specialty care setting required
- Possess at least one (1) of the following Medical Assistant certifications: American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) American Medical Technologists (AMT) National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
- BLS CPR from the AHA
Nice To Haves
- Associates Degree
- 6 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
- Previous Supervisory experience in an active, clinical setting is strongly preferred.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardio Life Support Certified) and/or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician (ASCP)
