US Heart and Vascular is in need of a Lead Medical Assistant to join our HeartPlace team in Plano, TX. Responsibilities: Supervise, train, and support clinical staff, including medical assistants and nurses, to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care. Coordinate patient care activities, including rooming patients, obtaining vitals, preparing for procedures, and conducting follow-up calls. Utilize eCW EMR to manage patient records, track clinical tasks, and ensure accurate documentation. Monitor compliance with clinical protocols, OSHA regulations, and HIPAA guidelines. Develop and implement procedures to enhance office workflow, reduce patient wait times, and improve overall patient experience. Oversee medical supply inventory, including ordering, stocking, and quality control. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and foster a positive work environment. Address patient concerns, support physician communication, and ensure high levels of patient satisfaction.

  • Medical Assistant or Nursing certification (CMA, RMA, LPN, or RN) strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a medical setting, ideally in cardiology is required.
  • Proficiency in eCW EMR required.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
