About The Position

We are looking for a Lead Certified Medical Assistant to join the Podiatry and Sports Medicine team! Responsibilities include rooming patients, collecting patient information, preparing patients for examination, assisting with procedures, and assisting with overall delivery of patient care. It is expected that the Lead’s daily work will encompass both lead and direct patient care responsibilities along with assisting Podiatry and Sports Medicine in achieving efficient work flow processes, high quality clinical outcomes, and exemplary patient experiences. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 4, 10-hour shifts (day off to be determined) supporting the Salmon Creek 2, 87th Ave, and Columbia Tech Center locations. Vancouver Clinic provides care across a wide range of medical decisions. This includes care and opinions on vaccinations, reproductive health, end-of-life decision-making, and gender affirming treatment. Requirements

  • Education and at least 1 year experience as an MA-C, required
  • Active required credential(s) for Medical Assistant-Certified
  • Ability to successfully become a core-trainer and super user of EMR
  • Superior communication skills and interpersonal skills set
  • Ability to be a team player
