Lead Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN)
About The Position
About Us: The Swan Center has been known for making Atlanta more beautiful for over 30 years. Our board-certified plastic surgeons have extensive training and aesthetic sensibility. They help their Atlanta cosmetic surgery patients achieve a natural, yet enhanced appearance. Since safety is as important as results, our operating facility is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). Swan has a strong team that enjoys working together collaboratively, and a true emphasis is placed on the patient experience, results, and safety. We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team and provide care across the Pre-Operative, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and Operating Room settings.
Requirements
- MA, LPN or RN Degree
- At least one year medical office experience required
- Must take pride in personal presentation
- Must have a positive and outgoing attitude
- Must be able to multitask
- Must have excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
- Must be medical computer literate
Nice To Haves
- Dermatology or Plastic Surgery experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Rooming patients and reviewing their medical information and cosmetic desires
- Assist with patient exams and office procedures including injectables
- Taking photographs of patients before and after procedures and injectables
- Cleaning, preparing and stocking patient exam
- Ordering supplies
- Returning nursing phone calls and emails
- Surgical chart preparation
