About The Position

Manages the technical operation of one or more of the laboratory sub-departments, (Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Microbiology, and Blood Bank). Performs and reports laboratory procedures in an accurate and timely manner. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.

Requirements

• Degree in Medical Technology or related field.
• Minimum of three years experience as a Medical Technologist or related lab experience.
• Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or equivalent.
• Florida State Clinical Technologist license in Chemistry and/or Hematology and/or Microbiology and Serology, and/or Immunohematology.

Nice To Haves

• State of Florida Laboratory Supervisor's license preferred.
