Requirements

Proven experience in early childhood education or preschool settings, with a strong background in classroom management and lesson planning.
Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across various educational areas such as math, literacy, physical education, and Montessori methods.
Familiarity with working with children of different ages, including toddlers and preschoolers, in daycare or private school environments.
Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and child welfare policies.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, families, and community partners.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is highly desirable.
Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; Bachelors degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning and implementation of engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with early childhood education standards, including Montessori and other pedagogies.
Mentor and support teaching staff by providing guidance on classroom management, behavior management, lesson planning, and effective teaching strategies.
Oversee classroom environments to ensure safety, cleanliness, and stimulating learning spaces that promote curiosity and exploration.
Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address individual needs, and foster strong partnerships centered on child welfare.
Facilitate ongoing professional development sessions focused on curriculum development, special education techniques, early intervention strategies, and literacy education.
Monitor classroom activities to ensure compliance with licensing regulations, standardized testing protocols, and childcare best practices.
Support inclusive education practices by working with children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services.
