About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Marketing Consultant for the Small & Business Banking (SBB) Marketing Team. This role is responsible for leading customer acquisition and onboarding marketing campaigns aimed at driving small business customer engagement with Wells Fargo deposit accounts. The consultant will manage cross-functional teams to develop and implement direct marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with deposit growth targets and enhancing customer experiences.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Digital Platforms (e.g., Mobile or Social Media).
  • Proven success in leading direct marketing campaigns, specifically direct mail and digital campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of business banking products and small business customer segments.
  • Strong analytical understanding of marketing campaigns, A/B testing, and Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI).
  • Campaign management and execution experience, ideally within Aprimo or similar tools.
  • Ability to direct creative teams to develop marketing campaign assets.
  • Strong presentation skills, including with senior/C-suite level leadership.
  • Ability to navigate a matrixed environment effectively.
  • Highly collaborative and able to lead cross-functional teams.

  • Experience in retail banking, preferably in Small & Business Banking.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex initiatives and work across functional teams to strategize, plan and ensure execution of marketing strategies and programs.
  • Act as key participant in marketing analysis, customer retention, and profitability for marketing.
  • Participate and lead cross-functional groups to create and manage digital content for marketing campaigns.
  • Make decisions in projecting or forecasting future marketing needs.
  • Analyze trends to ensure compliance with legal and privacy regulations related to marketing.
  • Collaborate with cross-enterprise teams and vendors to achieve marketing deliverables.
  • Build and manage deepening campaigns using email, digital, and mail channels.
  • Optimize marketing budget across multiple campaigns to achieve customer deepening goals.
  • Lead a matrixed team of data analysts, channel managers, and creative designers to achieve campaign goals.
  • Track macro-economic trends and recommend pivots in direct marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Science Team to forecast campaign results and publish performance reports.
  • Provide ongoing performance updates to senior leadership and executives.
  • Ideate for breakthrough marketing concepts to improve response rates and lower campaign costs.
  • Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to deliver deposit balance and attrition goals.
