Our Marketing and Research teams are using data-driven insights and the latest market trends to enable strategic decisions that surpass to position AT&T to outpace competitors. This market research and analysis role will gather data and conduct industry and product-specific analyses to assess market conditions and provide Broadband share and Flowshare to support our Fiber and Fixed Wireless products. The analyst will have deep experience with research programs, data analysis tools, and be able curate and develop information to evaluate market and competitive landscape and trends, current and future products, and market strategies.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills to assess market conditions and business impact.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the industry subject matter expert for consumer broadband (fiber and fixed wireless) products by accessing, verifying, organizing, analyzing, and synthesizing market trends, competitive intelligence, earnings, economic indicators, and sales data.
  • Define requirements for analysis, perform analysis, and assess potential business impact.
  • Possess expert knowledge within the marketing research field (both qualitative and quantitative approaches, sampling, and data analysis) and the ability to integrate critical information from many diverse areas.
  • Ensure high-quality data collection, analysis, and synthesis, leveraging a wide range of best-in-class market research and advanced analytics techniques.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure research efforts are aligned with business needs.
  • Manage multiple, simultaneous tracking platforms with support from outside research firms.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate data, insights, and form recommendations related to company strategies, new products, and marketing tactics.
  • Manage research studies and present findings on new market areas and future market conditions.
  • Tackle complex issues where analysis requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
  • Develop holistic stories that integrate data from multiple sources and drive actionable insights for marketing teams and executives.
  • Lead cross-functional, advanced analytics initiatives in collaboration with Product, Channel, Sales, and Finance teams.
  • Offer consultation to all levels of marketing to identify opportunities and assess threats to market share and opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze market trends in comparison to AT&T strategies and effectively communicate these insights in both written and verbal formats, differentiating from other market players and dynamics.
  • Prepare presentation materials with clear reports, charts, tables, and other visual aids to support findings.
  • Present findings to leadership in a persuasive, passionate, and articulate manner.
