About The Position

The Lead Manufacturing Training Specialist will champion success for EMO by guiding development of employees. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree accredited college or university with a HR focus preferred (or a high school diploma / GED + a minimum of 4 years of full-time related experience in HR/training/curriculum development)
  • Minimum of 3 additional years of relevant experience in related fields preferably in a manufacturing environment (HR/Training/Curriculum development)
  • This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e., a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).

Responsibilities

  • Act as a primary contact for training and development cross functionally for the EMO site, to include Flight Deck fundamentals.
  • Establish overall training structure for new salary team members.
  • Assist with all Flight Deck, continuous improvements related to our people at the site.
  • Assists with HR and FLIGHT DECK related activities as needed.
  • Create onboarding program for new team members to EMO.
  • Partner with the Site HR Leader, Technical Leader, and FLIGHT DECK leader to develop a training program aligning with technical needs.
  • Work with Business Leaders to standardize and improve cross-training matrix.
  • Coordinate cross-training matrix and update records.
  • Provides expertise in analyzing learning needs, designing training solutions in partner with subject matter experts and advanced employees.
  • Co-leads annual reviews and record retention of job classifications, qualifications, and expectations for all levels of operators.
  • Maintain a current schedule for all approved training and a list of SME's that are approved to deliver that training.
  • Ensure that each training module is delivered with the appropriate quality, that the instructor is professionally prepared, and delivers the key messages of the training.
  • Assess training need gaps, put actions into place to create training to address those gaps, and develop training in partnership with SMEs.
  • Overall monitors training content and documentation.
  • Works together with technical and business leadership to determine and fulfill training requirements.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism regarding sensitive information.
  • Designs and prepares educational aids and materials as needed.
