About The Position

Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and also within departments) according to production schedules. Plan and schedule material/production needs. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years Manufacturing/Production experience)
  • This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e., a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate lead times, lot sizes, safety stock, and planning strategies in ERP/MRP systems.
  • Monitor, prioritize, and resolve material shortages; lead daily/weekly shortage reviews with clear actions and owners.
  • Report regular rhythm insight of new incoming hardware with alignment to ATLAS/CAS
  • Receive in DCR hardware and manage real time coverage.
  • Inventory control set up stocking process/policies (Kit, DCR/shortage lane, kit carts, etc) balancing service level vs. inventory turns.
  • Monitor slow-moving, excess, and obsolete inventory, lead disposition and reduction plans.
  • Cycle counting & accuracy to support programs material coverage and drive root cause and corrective actions for inventory discrepancies.
  • Ensure materials are staged, kitted, and delivered to point of use on time; support line-side flow.
  • Lead/participate in daily tier meetings, report material status, risks, and recovery actions.
  • Respond quickly to line-down risks due to material; coordinate cross-functional rapid problem solving.
  • Work with receiving, warehousing, and logistics to optimize material flow and storage.
  • Monitor kit and material lane with mechanics to control material flow in and out of the area.
