Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in manufacturing or related job function
  • Proven leadership experience and capability.
  • Written and verbal communication in a clear and concise manner across all levels in the organization
  • Good team spirit and well-developed people skills.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and provide solutions/conclusions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, internet, AutoCAD, and email.
  • Ability to self-motivate and possess independent problem solving.
  • Positive attitude and committed to achieving business excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and run process improvement and equipment projects based on cost savings objectives.
  • Own process improvement initiatives while leading strategic projects to achieve cost savings, safety, quality, and OTD objectives. Use data and analytical critical thinking skills while communicating within global and local cross functional teams.
  • Define, create, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and assist in the creation of training programs, PM schedules, and other LEAN based systems.
  • Represent Tulsa in Global Process Development Group where best practices, standards, and innovative technologies are discussed.
  • Lead product transfer and New Product Development (NPD) projects for Tulsa
  • Lead major equipment installation projects as needed.
  • Manage customizing requests from Sales, approving/rejecting based on strategic goals and cost benefit.
  • Manage risk analysis, control plans, and process FMEA.
  • Function as a liaison with Design department, with ability to do some design work as needed.
  • Root cause analysis on production, quality, and safety issues as they arise.
  • Run daily production meetings with teams as needed.
  • Training and continual learning on manufacturing practices, leadership, safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to travel internationally.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.
  • Follow all safety rules, procedures, and instructions.
  • Use PPE and safety equipment as required.
  • Report unsafe conditions, equipment, or practices to supervisors immediately.
  • Participate in safety training and drills.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to minimize hazards.
