About The Position

Develop and implement advanced spray coating processes for epoxy and powder coating applications. Design and optimize coating parameters to ensure consistent quality and performance. Establish and maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems for monitoring process stability and capability. Lead equipment setup, calibration, and process validation for coating operations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance product quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Troubleshoot coating issues and implement corrective actions to maintain production targets. Train and mentor operators and technicians on best practices, process standards, and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum three (3) years of engineering or technical experience in design and/or manufacturing.
  • Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the Hodges facility (50 mile radius) will be considered for this position. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
  • Experience with spray coating processes, epoxy, and powder coating applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and safety training.
