Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze daily labor times, key performance indicators (KPIs), and other tracking reports using web applications.
  • Monitor daily production schedules and ensure production and quality goals are met.
  • Train new team members, sharing knowledge and ensuring they understand production processes and quality standards.
  • Support the Team Leader to ensure their guidance is being instructed and understood across the production team.
  • Review and comply with engineering drawings, shop order operations, and sequence to ensure accuracy and efficiency in production.
  • Perform detailed inspections of products to ensure compliance with quality standards, utilizing appropriate tools and equipment as necessary.
  • Support the production line to have all needed supplies, components, and paperwork available at all times.
  • Facilitate effective communication between team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Identify and escalate safety, quality, efficiency, and team member issues to area leadership for resolution.

Requirements

  • Able to work 3rd shift and train on 1st or 2nd shift.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Read, write, and speak in English.
  • Ability to lift up-to 50 pounds often.
  • Ability to work in clean rooms and lab environments.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks utilizing hand/eye coordination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Nice-to-haves

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address challenges in the production process.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, particularly SAP.
