Come be a part of this journey! We are looking for a Lead Manager HCM - Payroll. This position is based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and is categorized as a Junior Level role within the Human Resources function. In this role, you will provide SAP Payroll technical support and lead the design, implementation, and testing of new and current configuration changes. You will maintain the SAP payroll environments by leading the implementation and testing of service packs, software upgrades, and other system updates. Additionally, you will partner with internal and external resources to ensure accurate payroll processing and problem resolution, safeguard and ensure confidentiality of HR and payroll data, create and run ad-hoc reports to extract payroll data as needed, and drive priorities and lead projects to support business initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years in corporate payroll environment (Global Payroll is beneficial)
  • Experience with SAP Payroll or other in-house payroll systems
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member and lead
  • Proficient in the use of office technologies (MS Excel, Outlook, and Word)
  • Demonstrated technical ability to understand data flow and system interaction
  • Federal, state, and local tax knowledge and ability to update system configuration as needed
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Payroll certification desirable (FPC or CPP)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SOX compliance, internal controls and testing
  • Experience with ADP SmartCompliance
  • Experience with SuccessFactors
  • Experience with Handling third-party vendors, project requirements and timelines
  • Timekeeping system knowledge (Kronos)

Responsibilities

  • Provide SAP Payroll technical support and lead the design, implementation and testing of new and current configuration changes
  • Maintain the SAP payroll environments by leading the implementation and testing of service packs, software upgrades and other system updates

  • Safeguard and ensure confidentiality of HR and payroll data
  • Create and run ad-hoc reports to extract payroll data, as needed, for external and internal collaborators
  • Drive priorities and lead projects to support business initiatives
