About The Position

The Lead Management and Program Analyst serves as a Team Lead and Senior Analyst for the Science & Technology Division's Safety and Security Programs at the Department of Defense. This role involves managing safety and security processes, advising management, and ensuring compliance with various regulations and guidelines. The position requires collaboration with branch teams to implement safety and security programs and foster a culture of safety within the division.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• At least 5 years of experience managing safety and/or security processes.
• Excellent verbal, oral, and written communication skills for technical and senior leader audiences.
• Specialized experience at the DO-01/GS-11 or equivalent grade level.

Nice To Haves

• Background in managing safety or security related processes.
• Experience in managing and implementing safety related processes.
• Knowledge of USAF safety and security OIs, regulations, and policies.
• Experience with inspections and evaluations of safety and security programs.
• Ability to lead teams in implementing regulatory processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Team Lead, Senior Analyst, and Project Manager for Safety and Security Programs.
• Utilize DoD, AF, AFMC, AFRL guidance to advise managers and employees.
• Develop, execute, and sustain projects related to safety and security requirements.
• Collaborate with Branch teams to implement safety and security programs.
• Advise management on improving safety and security programs.
• Foster a generative safety culture across the Division.
• Lead annual safety tracking requirements and reviews.
• Implement changes to Security Class Guides and Technology Protection Plans.
• Prepare the Division for annual inspections and collaborate with security personnel.
