About The Position

Seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Lead to support a residential condominium community. This is a working supervisory position, responsible for both hands-on maintenance duties and the oversight of a small on-site team. The Maintenance Lead will supervise one full-time maintenance technician and one part-time janitorial staff member. In addition to daily maintenance responsibilities, this role requires coordination with third-party services vendors including landscaping, pool maintenance, HVAC, and plumbing contractors.

Requirements

Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines.
Have good leadership and organizational skills and the ability to motivate team members.
Knowledge in all building repair trades, purchase procedures and practices, work safety requirement, janitorial, painting and repair procedures.
High School degree, diploma or a GED equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
Two to three years of experience in maintenance supervisor position.
Must have a clean driving record
Must be able to pass a Drug Screening and Background check.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs across building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.)
Schedule, assign, and supervise maintenance and janitorial personnel
Coordinate and oversee work performed by external vendors and contractors
Ensure prompt response to resident work orders and maintenance requests
Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and supply inventories
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company policies and relevant codes/regulations
