About The Position

The Lead Maintenance Technician position is a full-time role based in an industrial environment, specifically focused on heat treating maintenance. This multi-craft maintenance position emphasizes mechanical skills while also requiring a solid understanding of electrical systems. The technician will be responsible for a variety of maintenance and repair operations to ensure that all plant equipment, machinery, and tools are functioning optimally. The role involves hands-on work, requiring the technician to inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain various electrical systems and mechanical equipment. Experience with heat treat vacuum furnaces, rigging, and millwright tasks is highly desirable. The technician will also need to demonstrate proficiency in basic PLC troubleshooting and industrial schematic reading, as well as welding skills, particularly in MIG or Stick welding. The position may require working in tight spaces and standing for extended periods, as well as lifting heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
