  • Supports Supervisors & staff by performing maintenance duties such as maintenance of production critical equipment and peripheral systems, and computer systems, electrical projects, light construction.
  • Works with outside contractors and vendors on facilities and equipment repairs.
  • General Maintenance, Troubleshooting and operations maintenance for all equipment used in facility.
  • Reviews & analyzes reports, records and directives, and confers with supervisor/managers to obtain data required for planning daily activities such as new PO's, WO status, progression of work, daily problems encountered.
  • Evaluates current Standards & Practices & SOPs for improvements and Implements by Training.
  • Acts as liaison between customer and maintenance personnel to develop training plans and ongoing qualification assessments.
  • Handles Monthly Safety & Training and maintains adequate logs and inspection forms.
  • Monitors PM Compliance & Inventory tracking usage and labor to report quality of maintenance program.
  • Helps with Training and Development of all personnel, is hard skills as well as soft skills, for future leadership positions.
  • Ability to measure voltage and current accurately and safely, and to use this data to troubleshoot circuits.
  • Mechanical experience with aligning bearings, shafts, and drives.
  • Develop an overall maintenance schedule based on the requirements of each device.
  • Ability to analyze cards and chips and replace if necessary.
  • Troubleshoot network systems.
  • Troubleshoot cabling and I/O devices.
  • Configure and troubleshoot IBM compatible computers.
  • Understand and utilize ICARE principles to communicate at all levels within the organization.
  • Improve quality and efficiency on the production floor.
  • Data tracking of maintenance program and adjusts as necessary to help meet all production goals.
  • 2+ year facilities engineering experience.
  • High school Diploma and Equivalent.
  • Ability to measure voltage and current accurately and safely and to use this data to troubleshoot circuits.
  • Trained to work with 460, 220, 120 VAC and 24 volt DC circuits.
  • Knowledge and understanding of motor starting circuits and power distribution circuits.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and evaluate operations based on these schematics.
  • Ability to read ladder logic, download and upload PLC programs, and troubleshoot PLC functions.
  • Ability to work with control circuits using such devices as: photoeyes, solenoid valves, limit switches, indicating lights, and safety switches.
  • Mechanical skills to align bearings, shafts, and drives.
  • Ability to identify worn or damaged parts and to replace them.
  • Ability to lubricate, oil, and clean devices as specified in their maintenance manuals.
  • Computer skills: Must be efficient in Excel, Power Point, and Word.
  • Ability to setup and analyze RS232/RS422 communications between computers or computer and peripheral devices.
  • Experience in a production environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; experience with customers, employees, McKesson network, and suppliers.
  • Safety Oriented.
  • Ability to adjust schedule as necessary to accommodate fly away support and training.
