About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee maintenance operations. This role is ideal for a highly skilled professional who thrives in a leadership position, excels in hands-on maintenance, and can manage a team effectively.

Requirements

• 5+ years in a Lead Maintenance Role with experience supervising 3+ team members.
• Extensive plumbing expertise with troubleshooting and installation experience.
• Proficiency in electrical repairs, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance.
• Ability to prioritize and manage tasks independently with minimal vendor reliance.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel between properties (within 50 miles).
• Must have a valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

• Prefer HVAC EPA certification but not required

Responsibilities

• Lead & Supervise – Oversee and direct maintenance technicians, ensuring efficient and high-quality work.
• Multi-Site Maintenance – Travel between properties with a designated home property.
• Plumbing Specialist – Skilled in repairs, troubleshooting, and installations to minimize vendor reliance.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, plank flooring installation
• Full Make-Ready Responsibilities – Perform painting, electrical work, unit turnovers, and cleaning to ensure apartments are move-in ready.
• Independent Problem Solving – Handle the majority of maintenance tasks in-house to reduce outsourcing.
• Property Upkeep – Maintain common areas, pools, and grounds to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Documentation & Reporting – Complete work orders, maintenance logs, and property reports accurately.
