About The Position

The Maintenance Tech III is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of a maintenance team to ensure the efficient and safe operation of equipment, machinery, and facilities. The role involves managing day-to-day maintenance tasks, conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The Maintenance Team Lead works closely with other departments to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent preferred.
  • Must have current driver's license in good standing

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in facilities management a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds and equipment.
  • Coordinate and perform routine inspections of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety and security systems.
  • Manage preventative maintenance schedule to minimize downtime and prevent costly repairs.
  • Ensure that all facilities are compliant with relevant health, safety and environmental regulations. Liaise with external contractors and service providers for larger maintenance and repair projects.
  • Lead, train and coordinates facilities team of associates responsible for Maintenance, Transportation and Housekeeping.
  • Develop staff schedules to ensure continuous coverage and support for all areas of the facility.
  • Manage work orders, floor care, carpet cleaning; manage room turns, painting, etc.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
