About The Position

A new company is launching a new manufacturing facility in Tooele, UT, and we are seeking a Lead Maintenance Supervisor to help establish a high-performance maintenance culture from the ground up. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will shape preventive maintenance strategy, develop technicians, and ensure equipment reliability in a safety-driven environment. Requirements

  • Strong industrial maintenance background
  • Leadership or supervisory experience in manufacturing
  • Experience building or improving preventive maintenance programs
  • Advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • PLC experience (Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens preferred)
  • Welding experience (TIG preferred)
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the onsite maintenance team
  • Set clear expectations around safety, quality, and accountability
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and ownership
  • Partner closely with Operations to drive uptime and reliability
  • Build and manage preventive maintenance programs
  • Establish spare parts and inventory control systems
  • Implement reliability best practices and document processes
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Diagnose PLC and control systems (Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens)
  • Perform welding and general industrial repairs
  • Maintain conveyors, presses, rotating equipment, cranes, and facility systems
  • Champion a strong safety culture (Lockout/Tagout, JSA, SH&E)
  • Conduct safety audits and equipment inspections
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards
