Avery Dennison is looking for a Lead Machine Operator to join our Service Bureau team. In this role, you aren’t just running equipment; you are the "Technical Pilot" of your station, ensuring high-quality production while providing guidance to the team in the absence of a supervisor. Your Impact Drive Results: Operate specialized Service Bureau equipment with a "zero-defect" mindset to meet demanding production schedules. Technical Leadership: Act as a go-to resource for the team, troubleshooting machine malfunctions and ensuring SOP adherence. Inventory Ownership: Manage raw materials and inventory levels using ERP systems to log time and materials accurately. Collaboration: Work closely with Customer Service and Management to handle emergency order changes and data discrepancies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or 4 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: A curiosity for how machines work and a drive to find root-cause solutions.
  • Physical Agility: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift between 25–50 lbs.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable pivoting between tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliability: A track record of dependable attendance and punctuality.
