About The Position

This position accepts responsibility for direction of the nursing staff in the implementation of patient care according to organizational policies and procedures.
This position works under the supervision of Clinic Manager and under the direction of the provider, and is employed by Mosaic Life Care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• LPNIV - Lpn Iv Cert in the state of Missouri or Kansas, depending upon designated work location within 90 days.
• Clinical\BCLS - Basic Life Support within 90 days.
• 2 years of Acute care nursing.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years office nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets and prepares patient for provider examination and treatment.
• Performs general nursing care to patients.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
• Observes, records, and reports patient’s condition to provider.
• Assists provider with procedures and properly maintains equipment before and after procedures.
• Engages in patient/family teaching to achieve the desired patient outcome.
• Monitors the scheduling of patients, answers patient inquiries, and maintains timely flow of patients.
• Arranges for patient referral testing at other facilities or specialty care.
• Other duties as assigned
