About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Lead Low Voltage Technician / Systems Integration Technician to oversee and execute residential smart home and low-voltage system installations. This role is hands-on and field-focused, ideal for a senior technician who leads from the front — not a project manager or estimator. The position involves leading installation teams, ensuring technical accuracy, coordinating with clients and builders, and delivering seamless integration of smart home systems including AV, automation, lighting control, networking, and security.

Requirements

Proven experience in low-voltage installation and smart home systems integration
Strong knowledge of home automation, networking, AV distribution, and control systems
Ability to lead field teams and manage multiple active installations
Comfortable troubleshooting technical issues independently
Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams
Strong organizational and communication skills
Professional, client-facing demeanor

Responsibilities

Lead installation and integration of smart home and low-voltage systems in residential environments
Install, configure, and troubleshoot AV systems, automation platforms, lighting controls, structured wiring, networking, and security systems
Oversee field technicians and subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines
Interpret project documentation, wiring schematics, and system layouts
Coordinate equipment staging, device setup, and final system programming
Communicate with homeowners, builders, and internal teams regarding installation progress
Maintain job site organization, safety compliance, and professional standards
Perform system testing, commissioning, and client walkthroughs
