About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Localization Software Engineer - REMOTE. In this role, you'll contribute to developing, maintaining, and supporting the Localization Pipeline technology, facilitating seamless integrations, and enhancing efficiency for the Globalization team. As a Localization Software Engineer, you will be at the forefront of adopting innovative technologies to dynamically support the localization process, ultimately ensuring high-quality multilingual content delivery. You'll engage closely with cross-functional teams and instill best practices in development, contributing to a company culture celebrated for its inclusivity and cutting-edge solutions.

Requirements

  • 5 years of software development experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Strong programming skills in Go, TypeScript, or Python.
  • Experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD automation.
  • Working knowledge of software localization methodologies.
  • Familiar with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with TMS platforms like Smartling.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Equivalent qualifications may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high quality and scalable solutions within established timelines.
  • Develop and maintain scalable components that support the localization pipeline.
  • Build internal tools and automation to improve team efficiencies.
  • Implement integrations with translation management systems.
  • Create tools leveraging GenAI for multilingual support.
  • Collaborate with PMs, Translators, and QA teams to ensure effective localization.
  • Diagnose and optimize systems for multilingual content delivery.
  • Contribute to AI-based localization frameworks.
  • Maintain accountability for code lifecycle.
  • Participate in open-source projects.
