About The Position

As a Lead Loan Processor, you would be responsible for Leading the team of Loan Processors in assisting Sales Center Loan Representatives and Branch personnel in the preparation and distribution of loan applications and documents.

Requirements

Has 2 to 5 years of similar or related experience.
A bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, economics, or any similar or related field preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of Products (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
Must maintain a professional, courteous, and friendly atmosphere for members and co-workers
Must have very strong communication skills both written and verbal
Must maintain a working knowledge of the credit union’s loan standards and governmental regulations.

Responsibilities

Prepares loan documents for disbursement/filing for all lenders. Ensures documents are in compliance with credit union policies and legal requirements. This includes verifying all information and correcting any discrepancies.
Oversees the daily operations of the Loan Operations team, distributing workloads, balancing priorities, and ensuring that turnaround times remain consistent with expected service-levels.
Actively participates in process-improvement efforts that enhance the overall lending experience.
Reviewing decisioned loan applications to ensure the application and all required documents are complete and accurate prior to funding as well as communicating any findings with the appropriate parties.
Other duties as assigned.
