About The Position

Performs a variety of housekeeping, laundry and linen tasks, requiring strong supervisory skills. Provides leadership, direction and equity for and in dealing with all employees. Creates an effective and cohesive working relationship with department employees, Department Heads, all hospital staff, and the public. Responsible for maintaining a high level of service within the hospital and adjacent buildings, which may require traveling from one facility to another without assistance. Respond to and initiate communication by phone, handheld radios, pagers etc.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must be able to read, understand and communicate effectively.
• A minimum of 1-year housekeeping experience in hospital setting.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Joint Commission requirements, preferred.
