Requirements

  • Prior kitchen leadership experience (BBQ or high-volume preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations
  • Ability to stay calm and lead during busy rushes
  • Team-first mentality with strong work ethic
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Passion for great food and consistency

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct line cooks during service
  • Ensure all food is executed correctly, consistently, and on time
  • Monitor smoker/pit temps and maintain BBQ quality standards
  • Oversee prep lists and side work completion
  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  • Step into any station when needed
  • Help train and develop new team members
  • Communicate inventory needs and control waste
