We are a group of individuals who share a passion for hospitality. A day in the life ... The Lead Cook will work closely with the F&B Manager in overseeing and supervising kitchen staff. Assists with inventory, ordering, supplier relationships, and management of supplies. Ensures food is of high quality, and kitchen is in good, clean, and hygienic condition. Will serve as MOD when the F&B Manager is out and supervise the culinary team to keep work and food prep stations clean and in compliance with food safety standards. Monitors and maintains kitchen equipment and arranges repairs and service as needed. Performs other functions as requested by the F&B Manager, General Manager and management. You own this if you have... · Prior experience as a Line Cook, Lead Line Cook required. · Minimum of 1-year previous experience in a similar role preferred. · Strong knowledge of Food hygiene and safety regulations required. · Ability to handle administrative tasks including payroll, time management and training. · Ability to be a clear thinker, multi-task, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgement. · Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy, prioritize and organize. · Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team by leading, motivating, engaging, and empowering team members. · Ability to communicate with guests and other staff members. · Strong leadership skills. · Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. · Good listening skills, with high levels of attention to detail. · Ability to multitask. · Maintain a high degree of confidentiality. · Willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include days, nights, weekends, holidays and able to cover shifts as determined by business needs. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for extended periods of time, walk, talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, or telephone. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10-25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Line Cook, Lead Line Cook required.
