About The Position

The Lead Lifeguard is responsible for overseeing the safety and well-being of all patrons at the aquatic facility. This position requires strong leadership skills, as the Lead Lifeguard will supervise other lifeguards and ensure that all safety protocols are followed. The Lead Lifeguard will also be responsible for conducting training sessions, maintaining equipment, and ensuring that the facility is clean and safe for all users. This role is crucial in providing a safe and enjoyable environment for swimmers of all ages.

Requirements

• Current Lifeguard Certification
• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Previous experience as a lifeguard
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a supervisory role
• Knowledge of aquatic facility operations
• Additional certifications in water safety or rescue

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train lifeguard staff
• Monitor pool activities to ensure safety
• Enforce facility rules and regulations
• Conduct regular safety drills and training
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility
• Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed
• Assist in scheduling lifeguard shifts and coverage
