About The Position

In addition to the usual responsibilities as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, the Lead will be responsible in assisting the department leadership on various department functions including but not limited to department performance improvement plan, development of care management programs and process, development of education plan and training of staff, and provide instruction and guidance in the implementation of care management function including discharge planning and care coordination in order to achieve a safe discharge plan for patients. The Lead, Licensed Clinical Social Worker has oversight of student internship and preceptor program including acting as a liaison to the universities, coordination of orientation and ongoing education per the direction of management. This role is also responsible for all other duties assigned by the management of the department. Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to provide consultation and instruction to staff regarding their assessment, intervention, planning and evaluation of cases
  • Ability to contribute to staff performance annual evaluation, perform staff annual competencies evaluations, provide staff orientation and training
  • Knowledge with regulatory requirements related to legal requirements
  • Knowledge with regulatory agency requirements, policies, and protocols
  • Demonstrate leadership and organizational skills
  • Independent performer
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
