About The Position

The Lead Learning Architect is a talent leader responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-wide learning ecosystems that align with organizational goals. This role combines expertise in instructional design, facilitation, learning technology, and business acumen to create scalable, innovative learning solutions that drive talent development and organizational performance. Job Description The Global Talent Team is seeking a highly motivated, hands-on Talent Solutions Architect to serve as a senior individual contributor. You will lead the end-to-end architectural design of talent solutions for our next generation of global Resideo Employees – Engineering Tomorrow's Talent, Today. In this pivotal role, you will define scalable, secure, and high-performing system solutions that span the Talent Management and Talent Development (emphasis on Development) ecosystems. Working closely with HRBPs, HR Admin, IT, and business teams, you'll shape systems that empower our employees to thrive. This position requires deep hands-on development, facilitation, and instructional design experience. You will have felt the weight of talent system decisions through hands-on implementation while possessing the broader perspective needed to orchestrate scalable solutions across multiple programs and portfolios.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of combined experience in Instructional Design, Learning and Development or Talent Development including expertise in Articulate and SharePoint
  • 5 years in leadership position.
  • Deep understanding of adult learning, Program and Project Management, and understanding of talent ecosystems.

Nice To Haves

  • Expertise in adult learning theory and instructional design models (ADDIE, Bloom).
  • Familiarity with data analytics for learning impact measurement.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Experience leveraging AI and machine learning capabilities in program / solution development and system architecture. Understanding of how AI/ML can be integrated into solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Assess client or organizational learning needs, align solutions with business goals, and advise leadership on instructional technologies and adult learning principles.
  • Architect holistic, end-to-end solutions that integrates performance management, Learning & Development, succession planning, and skills.
  • Translate complex business requirements into scalable solution designs that meet talent development and talent management needs of tomorrow.
  • Lead the creation of innovative Talent experiences, curricula, and online courses using instructional design frameworks and advanced learning technologies.
  • Implement and support complex LMS environments (e.g., Oracle Learning), integrate content libraries (e.g LinkedIn), design with talent management solutions (e.g. Oracle HCM & Goals).
  • Define system solution-level tradeoffs across our six core architecture pillars: Security, Performance, Cost, Reliability, Operations, and Developer/User Usability.
  • Use learner analytics and feedback to refine learning programs and champion best practices.
  • Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of architectural decisions, diagrams, and interface specifications.
  • Data-driven decision making and prioritization of program and solution work.
  • Work cross-functionally with instructional designers, business leadership, and IT teams to deliver scalable talent solutions.
  • Translate complex business strategies & requirements into scalable solution designs that meet talent development and talent management needs of tomorrow.
  • Support cross-team design reviews, architectural governance, and best practice enforcement across multiple programs and portfolios.
