About The Position
The Lead Landscape Designer / Landscape Architect position at Glengate is a pivotal role within our award-winning firm, which specializes in high-end residential landscape architecture, construction, and maintenance. Located in Wilton, CT, just 40 minutes from New York City, Glengate has been a leader in the industry for over 50 years, known for designing some of the most prestigious properties in the Northeast and across the United States. As a Lead Landscape Designer, you will be responsible for meeting with clients to understand their needs and aesthetics, linking their home architecture to the surrounding environment through innovative designs. You will lead and mentor a team of landscape designers, guiding them through the design and sales process while ensuring that client satisfaction is maintained throughout the project lifecycle. In this role, you will act as the main design contact, presenting proposed designs to clients, finalizing budgets, and signing design and construction proposals. You will also network with other professionals in the residential design field to generate leads and marketing opportunities. Your contributions will extend to departmental and company-wide initiatives, helping to promote additional services offered by Glengate, such as irrigation, pool care, and outdoor furniture.
