The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Mobility, Surveillance and Bombers (MS&B) organization is seeking a Lead Landing Gear and Hydraulic Systems Design and Analysis Engineer to join the Air Vehicle Engineering team located in Oklahoma City, OK. Position Responsibilities: Lead and provide technical quality review of the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid systems to establish the system design Lead activities to validate and verify mechanical and fluid systems requirements Lead the development, maintenance, or modification of system components' designs/proposals to provide installation and detail documentation Lead technical meetings and planning efforts, presents technical information to wide range of audiences Manage supplier development, test and production activities and directs the supplier to optimize integration and achieve program goals Prioritize, delegate and track performance and documentation of analyses of fluid systems/mechanisms/landing gear/ordnance components and systems selecting appropriate methods to validate or assess the design Support proposal preparation and new business development efforts Train and coach others Work under minimal direction This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Oklahoma City, OK. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
