Lead LAN/WAN Engineer
About The Position
Bison Group has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Lead LAN/WAN Engineer who will provide expert Design, analysis, research, and operation support to exceptionally complex networking problems and processes. Serving as a leader in the local- and wide-area networking; highly sought by others for advice and guidance. Serving as a technical expert on established and ad-hoc project teams providing technical direction, interpretation, and alternatives on existing and new services to meet both architectural and operational needs. Providing expertise in Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design, Architecture, Implementation, Information Systems Integration, and Communications and Network Systems Management May manage small teams of engineers and related technical staff such as cyber specialists and testers. Providing insight into cutting edge technologies, integrations, and capabilities Consulting with other engineers, team leads, or customer stakeholders on requirements, technical direction. Providing expertise on, deep knowledge of, and hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, F5, Aruba, Ruckus, Versa, NOM, NetScout and/or related network components or network monitoring and management tools. Provide deep expertise on BPG, OSPF, Tunnels (GRE, SudeoWire, VPN, L2TP), Spine and Leaf and BGP Peering.
Requirements
- IAT II, (or Industry Equivalent)
- CCNP or CCIE (or industry equivalent)
- TS/SCI security clearance with ability to obtain a CI poly
- High School/GED + 11 Yrs
- Associates + 9 Yrs
- Bachelors + 7 Yrs
- Masters + 5 Yrs
- PhD + 3 Yrs
Responsibilities
