About the position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Labor Supervisor to join our construction team. This leadership role involves overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of construction laborers on-site, ensuring that all work is performed according to project plans, specifications, and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the work of construction laborers
• Ensure that all work is performed according to project plans, specifications, and safety guidelines
• Assign tasks to laborers and provide clear instructions
• Monitor progress and productivity of the team
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to standards
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow
• Train new laborers on job duties, safety procedures, and company policies
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked by the team
• Identify and address any issues or obstacles that may arise during construction

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Labor Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
• Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics
• Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Prolog, or similar tools
• Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with team members at all levels
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Experience in budgeting, cost control, and construction estimating is preferred
