In this role, you will need to utilize your strong Lab Technologist experience, as you will assist in providing guidance to our overnight team. Take this opportunity to assist the Laboratory Supervisor in supervising and implementing quality assurance, quality control, and maintenance. This position would perform testing and help oversee operations between the Blood Bank, Chemistry and Hematology, and Microbiology departments This is a full-time, Overnight position, Monday - Friday with rotating weekends and holidays. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or related science
  • New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License from New York Education Department
  • Minimum of 4 years of clinical laboratory experience or 2 years of clinical laboratory experience with Master’s degree or 1 years of experience with a MD, DO or doctoral degree in a chemical, physical or biological science

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Hematology and Chemistry testing
  • Prior experience in a hospital system
  • Leadership skills
  • ASCP certification
