We are looking for candidates who have a passion for helping court-involved youth. This is an INTERNAL POSTING open ONLY for current NC Dept. of Public Safety employees and eligible NC Dept. of Public Safety RIF candidates. This posting is for District 21 (Forsyth County) located in the Piedmont Region of the State of North Carolina. The primary purpose of this position is to provide case management services, counseling, and supervision of adjudicated undisciplined or delinquent juveniles, to assure compliance with court ordered dispositions. Work involves assisting, training, and supporting the daily work of Juvenile Court Counselors with data quality oversight, peer mentoring, assessing juvenile and family needs to develop and implement plans for treatment and complying with court orders; monitoring juvenile and family progress through home visits, residential placement, or Youth Development Center, office, and school visits, and contact with other human service agencies providing services to the family; and providing transitional and post-release supervision and support services to facilitate community re-entry and continuing treatment needs.
