About The Position

Infosys is seeking a Lead Java with Splunk-This position's primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and coordinate for day-to-day deliverables for the team. The chosen candidate will assist in the technical design of large business systems; builds applications, interfaces between applications, understands data security, retention, and recovery. The role holder should be able to research on technologies independently to rmend appropriate solutions & should contribute to technology-specific best practices & standards; contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, including, reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability and scalability; contributes expertise on significant applicationponents, program languages, databases, operating systems, etc., and guides/mentors the team during the build and test phases.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
Candidate must be located withinmuting distance of Plano, TX or Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA or be willing to relocate to the area.

At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
Experience in Java and production Support
Experience in Splunk

Nice To Haves

At least 4 years of experience in Java Support with expertise in Splunk and Dynatrace is responsible for maintaining and enhancing Java-based applications, ensuring their optimal performance, and utilizing monitoring tools for proactive issue resolution.
Familiarity with other monitoring and logging tools, such as AppDynamics, New Relic, or ELK stack, is a plus.
Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation purposes.

Responsibilities

Provide ongoing support for Java applications, including debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
Utilize Splunk and Dynatrace to monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations. Configure alerts and dashboards to proactively detect and address potential issues.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and quality assurance, to deploy updates, patches, and new features.
Maintainprehensive documentation of support processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure continuity.
Analyzeplex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
Convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Work effectively in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with various departments to achievemon goals.
