The Provider Servicing team is developing integrations with our partners to provide a better experience for our Providers. Ensuring providers receive accurate information they need to provide care and process claims. Information integrity and accuracy is critical and so is providing this information in a secure and timely manner. We are leveraging proven technologies to aplish this. Collective Health is building modern health management systems, these integrations are a critical part of that. As a backend engineer, you will be responsible for the ownership and management of Provider Servicing systems. This includes developing new AI-powered solutions and providing support for existing microservices-based applications and integration platforms. Requirements

Experience: 10+ years as a Backend Engineer
Backend Engineering: Strong proficiency in Java & Spring Cloud, with a deep understanding of microservices architecture and Integration platforms
AI Tools: Regular use of AI-enhanced development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, WindSurf).
Cloud: Extensive experience with Cloud Technologies (AWS/GCP preferred).
Data: Hands-on experience in data architecture, SQL/PostgreSQL, and developing data-intensive services.
Systems Development: Prior experience in building, launching, and maintainingplex systems.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, and product managers, to gather requirements and ensure solutions meet business needs.
Communication: Excellentmunication skills across all levels and teams.

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable, secure, and configurable platform services for the Provider Servicing Team.
Lead backend development and support of services across backend (Java/Spring Cloud) and integration platforms (Mulesoft and others)
Utilize working knowledge of AI-powered developer tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor) and actively contribute to AI adoption in development and operational aspects.
Build and enrich APIs and data services to integrate with partners.
Collaborate with product managers, operations analysts, customer advocates in building solutions that helps Providers integrate with our platform.
Understand architectural decisions and actively drive reusable patterns for cloud-native, AI-enabled backend systems.
Lead and mentor other engineers in the team and help them succeed.
Actively work with the operations and customer advocates to create efficient processes through automations to improve SLAs.
