About The Position

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead specialist/Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the assigned section; triage cyber events and escalate as required.
• Develop and/or recommend improvements to processes and procedures for monitoring and evaluating cyber threats to the Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN).
• Organize and/or perform studies of complex problems and research technical issues dealing with Cybersecurity and DCO, providing feedback and recommendations to leadership.
• Perform cyber defense trend analysis and prepare detailed reports of security incidents; use results of analyses to recommend policies and criteria and to assess the effectiveness of Cybersecurity measures.
• Provide leadership and guidance on policies, procedures, and cybersecurity issues to promote leadership, prioritization, oversight, and direction to the DISA Global cybersecurity team.
