About The Position

This is not a typical technician role. We are looking for a senior irrigation professional who wants to grow into field leadership. You will start as our Lead Irrigation Technician — the go-to person in the field for complex diagnostics, technician support, and process improvement. From there, the path leads directly to Operations Manager as the company grows. What You Will Do In the Field (Phase 1 — Lead Technician) Perform advanced irrigation diagnostics, repairs, and system evaluations Mentor and support a team of four technicians Solve complex system problems that require deep technical knowledge Help drive field productivity and improve average job quality Identify process improvements and help implement them As the Company Grows (Phase 2 — Operations Manager) Manage technician performance and daily field coordination Oversee hiring and training of new technicians Implement operational systems that reduce the owner’s involvement Participate in company strategy and planning What You Will Earn Component | Details Base Salary | $48,000 – $55,000 annually Production Commission | 20% on personal service revenue Team Bonus — $50K/mo revenue | +$500/month Team Bonus — $60K/mo revenue | +$1,000/month Team Bonus — $70K/mo revenue | +$2,000/month Strong performers who help the team hit revenue targets can meaningfully increase their total compensation. Who We Are Looking For Required: 3+ years of irrigation technician experience (residential and/or commercial) Strong system troubleshooting skills — you can diagnose what others cannot Experience with or interest in mentoring less experienced technicians Professional, reliable, and safety-conscious on the job Preferred: Experience with Hydrawise or similar smart irrigation controllers Background working with irrigation supply houses or multi-tech field operations Interest in eventually moving into an operations or management role The right person is not just a great tech — they are someone who naturally helps their teammates succeed and takes pride in seeing the whole team perform well. Requirements

  • 3+ years of irrigation technician experience (residential and/or commercial)
