About The Position

The Coordinator role at SpartanNash is responsible for overseeing daily inventory control tasks during a specific shift. This position acts as a lead, stepping in for the Supervisor or Manager when they are unavailable, and ensures that all inventory control policies are adhered to. The Coordinator will also be involved in training inventory control associates and aligning tasks to staff, contributing to the operational excellence of the company.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • One year of relevant job experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organization, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of WMS system and its use in all formats.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to lead and motivate a team to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word).

Responsibilities

  • Perform Manager/Supervisor duties during absence of Supervisor/Manager.
  • Ensure completion and filing of all documents according to inventory control policy.
  • Align inventory control tasks to staff.
  • Train Inventory control associates.
  • Attend weekly meetings and sign off on Manager/Supervisor reporting.
